1. What invest.fail is
A factual calculator. It shows what would have happened if you had invested a given amount in a given asset from a given date, using historical public price data. That's arithmetic, not advice.
2. Not financial advice
invest.fail is not a financial adviser and does not make recommendations about any specific cryptocurrency, asset, exchange, or strategy. Make your own decisions; consult a licensed adviser if you want advice.
3. Affiliate disclosure
We earn commissions when users sign up to partner exchanges via our links. We disclose this at each link and here.
4. Pricing
The calculator is free. If we ever offer a paid product, it will be a one-off charge, clearly priced before you pay — no subscriptions, no recurring charges.
5. Refunds
No refunds except where required under the Australian Consumer Law.
6. Your data & deletion
You can request access to, or deletion of, your data at any time. Deletion purges identifiable data and anonymises retained calculation records.
7. Limitation of liability
Calculations may contain errors and rely on third-party data. You are responsible for your own decisions. To the extent permitted by law, invest.fail is not liable for losses arising from use of the service.
8. Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
9. Eligibility
invest.fail is intended for adults (18+).
